Jupiter Plantations has been involved in agriculture since 2000, managing estates in Sri Lanka’s renowned coconut-growing region of Kuliyapitiya.
Coconut cultivation forms the foundation of our plantation operations, with produce harvested from our estates and supplied to industry wholesalers and processors. Our agricultural activities also extend to selected spices, broadening the range of produce grown across our plantations.
The coconut palm has long been closely connected with Sri Lankan life, agriculture and cuisine, with virtually every part of the tree finding a practical use. Sri Lanka is also famous for the distinctive King Coconut, locally known as Thambili, a naturally sweet variety traditionally enjoyed for its refreshing water and recognised as one of the island’s most characteristic tropical fruits.
Drawing on more than two decades of plantation experience, we take a long term approach to the management and productivity of our estates, with a focus on responsible cultivation, consistent quality and reliable supply to our customers.
